Nitrous oxide is frequently used in dental surgery as a painkiller. It
makes some people pain-insensitive, and they laugh like idiots. Others,
like myself, it simply gives a headache. As with any drug, there's always
somebody who likes the high, so they buy it and use it for that purpose. To
use it, you take a balloon, fill it with the contents of the canister, and
rapidly inhale/exhale the contents of the balloon a couple of times.
Personally, I prefer a good steak.
