I am awed by your past efforts at growing period varieties and I you have my
deepest sympathies for your loss in abandoning them.  If you will give me some
time I can contact several chicken fanciers/poultry professionals/agricultural
departments to try to find the information you seek with regard to the size of
eggs.  I will need to know which specific areas (e.g., countries) you are
interested in so I can find out the information on the breeds that were
commonly used in that area.  I will also try to be careful to document my
sources with names, etc.  I realize that you can do this yourself but I am
really interested in this and I would be happy to add any inquiries you may
have to my chicken research.
