hee hee hee....this book was one of the gifts in our guild gift exchange
(one of those exchanges that you can swipe other peoples prezzies). It went
around and around and around...rather amusing, actually. I just went ahead
and bought my own copy (I hate to see a grown cook cry when you take her
prezzie and stick her with the rubber duck decoys instead)

I also recommend _Kitchen Science_ by Howard Hillman. Much less involved
that Cookwise, but a great pick up and put down book.
