Lemonade? Since the bottle itself is being donated. And the SCA is a non-
profit there is no improprity here , at least in Penna.

Six empty bottles? Again no reason to remove them from the auction. They can
concievible be filled with anything at a later time. Seem s like the purchaser
can make the decision on what to put in them. Again a moot point .

Certainly it is the preogative of the buyer of valuable empty bottles to
consult with the original owners on what may best preserve their value.?

All in all looking at the big picture I see little or no reason for any
paranoia in this matter unless there are REAL issues that have not benn shared
shared regarding the underlying reasons for withdrawing them . If such is the
case , I wiould be more than happy to speak privately with the donator of item
23 to quench my curiosity about what a set of bottles that were made to hold
barley wine may be worth if I happen to come across such a set of bottles in
the future since I currently have no special containers for holding barley
wine I may want to add these items to my cellar. That way if I happen to
acquire barley wine in the future, I will be prepared in advance with the
specific receptacles designed to hold such a product.
