The book being referred to is:
_The Medieval Health Handbook_. Translated and adapted from the modern
Italian edition by Ratti, Oscar. and Westbrook, Adele. Published by
George Braziller, Inc. New York. 1976 ISBN 0-8076-0808-4 (Original
Italian edition, _Tacinum Sanitatis_. Lusia Cogliati Arano, editor.)

But I can't remember which picture the gentle must be refering to. Most
of the mauscriptions are from the Po valley, circa 1390.

Cool book, spiffy pictures (it's got a high hollar hooplande I seriously
lust for).
