A frozen dinner is the one you cooked for Pennsic, froze, and took to war
in your cooler so you'd have edible food--really!--even after you got the
tent up.  I have learned to freeze them in different size containers, or
'lumps'.  The fresh food is for tonight, the thin frozen zip lock bag is
for tomorrow, the thick bag is for next day, the solid extra large ice
cream container is for the day after that...



(With apologies--although, not very many...--to the no-cooler purists) 
((But I have started making the jerky))
