In our shire the term hall steward designaytes the person in charge of the
feast hall. Hanging the banners, setting up tables for feast, making sure
merchants are taken care of adequately, Cleaning and straightening the hall
afterward. Letting the Kitchen know when coffee or hot water pots, milk, etc.
are getting low.
