Same here. 200+ on site, but only 100 or so at feast. Court is usually after
fighting, before feast. Which is nice because everyone that is
daytripping/not eating at feast gets to go to court. If the weather and site
permit, court is often held out of doors, which gives give the hall stewards
and servers and volunteers a time to rearrange the hall. It was very nice at
Boat Wars when the Baron and Baroness sat with their backs to the lake and the
populace was on the slope rising from the lake to the hall. Everyone could
see and hear.

When the weather is cold or nasty and court is forced indoors, it's a mess.
The fire code is broken beyond repair, most can't see, most can't hear, and
then you have to get rid of them all to rearrange the hall.

Entertainment at feast is usually unplanned or at least not officially
planned. Someone or a group will usually sing or recite. Sometimes there's a
bit more court business because someone turned up at feast that skipped court.

Court during feast, and entertainment as well sounds like great fun. Wish we
could manage it.
