Thus is a correlation defined........a relationship trend, rather than causal
relationship. A number between -1.00 and 1.00 (usually written as a
per centage), with -1 being exact inverse relationship (all people with
big feet are short/vice versa) and +1 being perfect positive match (all
people with large shoes are taller than average). All things measurable
can be coorelated (more or less); it's the significance of the value
achieved that becomes the issue.
