Well, given that Francis Scott Key copped the tune from the anthem of the Sons
of Anacreon, and they freely admitted (in writing) that they copped the tune
from a popular tavern song from the time of the English Civil War, the tune
for our national anthem could, conceivably, be a period, or nearly period,
air.  Not the words, just the tune.  <veg>
