Sianan,

When you've cooled off a little under our lovely, shady rock, think of
whether there is a source, such as a Barony news letter, in which you
could write a letter of praise and thanks to the feastocrat.  Detail her
difficulties and her solutions and praise, by name, all her helpers. 
That might serve to off-set the bad impression others may have gotten
from the inadequate autocrat's unfair ranting.

Sounds as though she really deserves--and needs--to have those thanks.
