Hi all,

I figured I could vent and feel horrible here and you all would understand.
Yesterday I received an email from a Lady I am doing a feast for in
November.  She let me know that an event was just handed off to another
group for the middle of August and they needed help with the feast.  I told
her I could do a really simple feast pretty inexpensive for them with out
problem and would be happy to.  Last year this "feast" was a potluck with
the barony providing soups (both completely non-period by the way) and
bread.  I figured that by doing a real feast, even a simple one I might do
better.  I received a letter back from the Autocrat letting me know that he
would like my help in putting on the feast like it was last year. 

I talked to my Mistress and my fiancé and they both agreed that I should not
do a feast like this because of my feelings on doing non-period type cooking
events.  I wrote the Autocrat and told him that so now I feel like a Big
Blue Meanie for not helping out when they needed it.

list.
