It may well be, because I think a lot of it regional.  Here, there aren't any
butcher shops that sell wild game.  I'm not sure why, but I think its because
the people here that hunt, consume what they kill.  Hunters from outside
usually take the whole animal home to their own butchers or get it butchered
here and take the meat home.  Even if some big shot comes in to do trophy
hunting, someone ends up with the meat.  Personally, i only have to wait and
see how hunting season is for my in-laws to know what kind of game we'll get.
