Making bread by using a starter is the earliest form of bread making.
Commercial yeast is relatively new on the human scene. I still occasionally do
the flour, water, suger; set in a warm place until it is frothy thing to bake
bread. It is wonderful compared to any other way that can be used to make
bread.
