<<
Now is the time to plant the following period seeds in all but the most
 northern sections of the US:

peas, parsley, spinach, lettuce, radishes, onions, shallots, garlic, dill and
 sorrel.

(Grin) Except for those of us in Southern climates, where it's already a
bit late for the things that hate hot weather, like the peas, lettuce and
spinach.......... Not to mention the favas! BTW, most "authorities" are
recomending planting garlic in the fall thesedays. Not that it seems to matter
in my garden--by the time I get around to digging it, it's already sprouted,
so it gets left alone again or just pulled for greens.

Ldy Diana, who just got her lettuce and spinch planted Friday--late, as
usual, although El Nino gets some of the blame this year. Too much dang rain!
