They ate ortolan in Gigi, quail  in Babette's Feast-en sarcophage with a
nice looking cognac sauce.

I remember about 10 years ago when Babette's Feast was first brought into
America there was a news article in the Va Pilot-Ledger-Star on a group in
Manhattan that recreated the dinner, duplicating either the exact vintages
or as closely as possible[I cant remember which] and all the food for a
modest cost of about $10k per person[argh!]
