Thanks for the info on English galingale - I'll go and look up Sweet Flag in
my herbals at home.  I hadn't come across this usage.


BTW - on the question on eating brains - its completely ruled out over here
in the UK (at least calves or sheep - never investigated pigs) - you folks
in the States don't have problems with BSE?

Come to think of it, you do - thats what the Oprah case in Texas was about.
Over here selling nervous tissue of cows and I think sheep, is banned
because of BSE and worries about the new form of CJD.
