SC - Garden time

Gardening time is upon us. :-)

Now is the time to plant the following period seeds in all but the most
northern sections of the US:

peas, parsley, spinach, lettuce, radishes, onions, shallots, garlic, dill and
sorrel.

Roman persons might want to lay in their gladiolus bulbs planting at least 6
inches deep. If you plant them primarily for flowers you might want to stagger
your plantings of glads every 2 weeks up until the beginning of June.

Aztec personas could plant dahlias and Jerusalem artichokes now if they are
planted at least 6 inches deep.

Other recommended plantings for this time are horseradish roots and rhubarb
roots.

More to come as the season progresses.
