Louis,

I and a few friends have been considering creating a virtual library for
our Barony (and then the rest of the Principality) of SCA-related books
owned by SCA members so you know who has what and who to talk to about
different interests. The main difference between what we were creating
and your proposal is the owner identifying details. Instead of:

> Owner:
> Mundanely Known As:
> Owner E-Mail:
> Owner Phone:
> Owner Fax:
> Owner Address:
> Street:
> State/Province:
> Country:
> Postal Code/Zip:
>
We were only going to list the following:
> Owner (SCA Name):
      Location (SCA Group or State/Province):
       Owner E-mail:

We were advised that by publishing more details we were leaving people
open to being robbed. (i.e. advising burglars what people had in their
homes and where they lived etc.). We were planning to turn the whole
thing into a searchable database with a hotlink from the Owner e-mail
field to actually sending a form to that person stating that <insert
name here> was interested in your copy of <merge title here>. I can be
contacted on <insert your contact details here>.

Also I was planning to have one file per book and just include many
owners (and owner details) under the one heading. A "one to many" link
in technical terms.

I would also include a field for ISBN.

Unfortunately no-one I spoke to had the required HTML skills to get this
project working. Hope you have more luck.
