I found that this was very good, but I had a hard time finding a container
that the lid would not pop off of, does anyone have any suggestions on a
container? Also, if I was to add some vanilla to this would it change the
time you leave it sit?

Gratefully,

Well, is the top popping off due to fermentation? If it is, you might
consider putting it in a bottle that you put a single hole stopper in with a
fermentation lock-but with vodka to kill off any opportunistic yeast, that
shouldnt be the problem. How about making the cordial in a large glass
clamptop storeage container? make sure the wire bale is sturdy enough.

If you want to add vanilla, why not use it in the bean form? there is more
than enough alcohol to extract the oils. That is what I do when I make my
cordials.

[and why aren't you on the distilling list???]
