And why the restriction against organ meats? I always serve at least one organ
meat dish at my feasts and it always gets eaten. BTW, I also always bring a
platter of sardines , smoked herring and other tasty treats to modern dish to
pass events. Despite the yucks and blechs , it also seems to disappear
rapidly.

Since the use of organ meats in period was the rule rather than the exception
and make fine additions to stewed stuff, I am having a hard time coming up
with a valid reason to leave this important and highly nutritional item out.
Your thoughts on this matter would be most welcome unless , of course, they
are of the blech-yuck variety which thoughts would then be irrelevant IMO.
