SC - MAY TOURNEY CANCELLATION

Good Gentles,

     Due to flooding and weather problems, The May Tournament of the Barony
of Thor's Mountain to be held on the weekend of May 8,9,10, 1998 at Big
Ridge State Park is hereby cancelled.  The site was under water from the
flooding, and is not yet dry, and there are some health concerns, so the
autocrats and feastcrats decided that it would be safest and best to cancel
the event.  We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.
