Ras,

Wouldn't serve potato salad. Did get to wondering recently if a German
potato salad dressing--bacon, vinegar et al--could make a decent salad of
cooked turnips, or an assortment of cooked, cold veggies.  Not period,
but portable and not as bad as taking potato salad.  As I can't eat raw
onions, all of mine are cooked.  I'll eat your blue crabs--or any other
color--if anyone brings them!

And no 'shrooms, Margali!
