I've been there, which is why I do a lot of the baking before the event and
if I have a big enough work crew, I farm some of the simple stuff out.  If
you have to buy it, I'd recommend trying to find a bakery and cut a deal for
bread in quantity.

I've seen one person who was allergic to wheat (he was also allergic to
corn, try avoiding corn syrup) and a few that won't eat anything with yeast
(being on one of those yeast-free diets).  But, usually bread goes over
quite well.

I did find some wheat free bread recipes last Friday.  I haven't had time to
look them over, but I think they are primarily griddle breads, which can be
cooked on a baking stone or in a skillet.  If they work out, I'll be posting
some of them.
