SC - Re: food tithes

Perhaps the major time was around the Michalmas Fair.  That's early
Sept., IIRC, right after harvest.  The Church got tithes; the manors
collected dues.  Can't find specifics, right off hand, in my economic
histories.  Some books not unpacked yet.
