Actually, one of the ladies in my household is not fond of cilantro at
all, I minimize it because she loves this recipe.

Also, one of my biggest problems with cooking competitions has been
"needs more spices". I think however that the problem might be is folk
out here love those really hot salsas and chilis (the more jalapenos the
better). My husband has to taste test any new salsa to make sure it
is not to hot for me (I get sick from jalapenos). Some peoples "mild"
is too hot for me.

So last Twelfth night for the Wooden Spoon Cook-off the recipe was
gingerbread. I thought to myself, "I would put in this amount of spice,
well lets quadruple it and see what they think". Unfortunately, no
comments were given out for the entries, so I haven't a clue if it
was too mild, too spicy, or as expected.
