SC - Introduction

Greetings to all-

I have been lurking for about two weeks reading all the interesting posts
by everyone while I think about joining SCA.

I have always enjoyed what my wife calls production cooking
(cooking,holidays,events,etc), and even though my original intent was only
to get a feel for SCA, I feel like I've already learned a lot from this
list.This is definitely part of SCA I would like.

I guess I'll have to make that phone call to go to the newcomer's meeting
and join.  Then I can start collecting books, and feast gear, and garb, and
spices,and........It sounds like fun!

Looking forward to reading more, learning a lot, and maybe even
contributing someday.
