SC - Definitely OT: Ghee and Bamboo steamers

A bamboo steamer's easy- all you need to do is put your food in it on a
heat-resistant plate smaller in diameter than the steamer, and place the
thing over boiling water, either a pot, or a wok. Ghee is essentially
clarified butter, so it can be used for anything for which you'd use either
butter or clarified butter, but you'd be best advised to look for recipes
which specifically call for it, particularly those involving Asian, Indian,
Arabic, or African cooking, since in those rather warm climates, ghee is
used rather than butter because it keeps so well.
