SC - Jeff Smith Cook book " Keeping the feast"

Hi all,, 
I know that this book was mentioned on the list  a week or so ago  ,  and I
was wondering does it hold any merrit in the SCa  cooks bookshelf? My local
Borders has it on the bargain shelf for  2.99. and before I ask my husband
for another book this week I'd see if it has value.
