This may be the difference in our event styles. Most of our events are
weekend long cabin or tent camping. We serve breakfast Sat. & Sun.
mornings every time. While it is true that we only plan for about half
of the attendees at the event to eat breakfast, we still feel the need
for a real meal. A skimpy breakfast will be looked on with frowns and
grumbles. If there is not at least some kind of protein available, (I
try to fight the 'bacon and eggs every time' crowd by introducing
interesting alternatives) it is not considered a real meal. And, if
there is nothing at Sunday morning breakfast that isn't a leftover, no
matter how good the leftovers are, this too will be met with unhappy
campers.
