An example of zoocultural Darwinism. In coarse terms, three-sided hogs
walk rather lopsided, and are generally left behind in the rush to reach
breeding females, resulting in the unfortunate elimination of the
three-sided gene from the pool. However, since the discovery of the link
between careless nuclear waste disposal and the new species of
three-eyed fish, ichthos simpsonis, geneticists have redoubled their
efforts to perfect the three-legged turkey _and_ the square tomato. Take
heart. These things take time.

As my local biogenetic pizzeria prints on their delivery boxes, "Good
food takes time. We are developing new species. Please be patient while
we prepare your dinner!"
