Nobility and royalty are two different things. I don't recall saying it was
limited to 'royals'. Neither did I say that it was limited to noblemen. In
fact, I don't recall limiting it to any particular person. To consider all
members as noblemen is not a limitation, it is an observation.

What I did say was that the feasts and recipes that we have access to were
used in noble households. And I quoted a line or two from the Known World
Handbook, which is not the same as quoting Corpora. Each person is encouraged
to 'play' the game on an individual basis. This does not compell me to play
that person's particular game.

Personally, I much prefer to wear silks than wool and hemp. And I prefer to
eat succulent and tender young animals instead of old hens and geriatric
cows. And I most certainly would rather drink from silver and gold cups as
opposed to leather and leaded vessels. And I would rather sit at table than
wait for used trenchers and slop buckets to be passed out the door. Or have
access to manuscripts and learning than not be able to read or write. There
are also advantages to sleeping in a real bed instead of on a pile of straw
and living in a real house instead of crowding in with 12 others in a single
room or small hovle.
