SC - Brodo of chickpeas

     I like turnips at certain times of the year, when they're sweetest.  I 
     like them best raw & dipped in salad dressing or cut up and cooked 
     with my Sunday pot roast.  The flavor of the turnips at KDM was far 
     stronger than that to which I'm accustomed.  I assumed it was in the 
     cooking process used to make the dish.  I didn't consider that "hot" 
     tasting turnips could have been used.
     
     Leanna (who's mother used to cook white potatoes & turnips together 
     and tell her family they were all potatoes! "Just mash them all 
     together and you'll never notice the turnips.")

Do you dislike turnips in general or just in this dish?  I am 
generally fond of turnip, so I'm sure I would love this dish, however 
I am not certain it would make a convert out of a devout 
turnip-hater.
