typically a year or more to become good. This is dependant on the
ingredients. There are a lot of people who drink and/or serve them
before that time (even myself at times), but in general 2 to 5 years

Just so you know that it's not for those who are impatient.
Ahhhh, but then there IS speed mead, which, if done properly, is passably
drinkable.
