SC - possibly OOP - wood stove

If there os a threaded socket in an inconspicuous place on the rear or sides, it may
be a 'dryer' for gloves or socs. My mom's wood stove has a pair that protrude from
the rear that are wonderful for drying muttens on, then when you put them back on
they are warm and tosty.
