SC - internal organs

Forgive me if this was already stated as I have been off the list for a
few days, but one must be very careful eating the internal organs of an
animal one did not know on a first name basis.  Seriously, folks, many
medicines are metabolized through the liver and kidneys of animals just
like they are humans.  Also, diseases and parasites are much more
prevalent in the internal organs.  PLEASE be very careful about where
you get your organ meats. 
Tamar, who grew up on a farm in Amish territory where we not only ate
organ meats, we knew our animals by their first names
