Barenjager is indeed a honey liqueur. It is imported from Germany, comes in a
basket wrapped bottle with a bee pin attached and a hive shaped cap. It is
considered one of the world's premium liquors,(e.g. Frangelico, B & B, Bog's
and other's). It is a regular code item and is available at any PA liquor
store or can be had within one to two weeks if your particular local Wine and
Spirits Shop does not have it in stock. That is unless the company has it
backordered.

Highly recommended as an unusual and particularly tasty liqueur. Barenjager
has deep notes of intense honey flavor which is modified by it's creamy
sweetness. It is especially good when sipped on the rocks, IMO, as an after
dinner drink. For an intense oral orgasm, try serving it over crushed ice
with real mincemeat pie, freshly made ginger snaps and toasted lightly salted
walnuts as a dessert course.

This is only one of the possibilities that I have come up with for a dessert
course for special friends. Hors d'oeurvres consisted of chicken liver pate,
cream cheese/chopped shrimp with black olives, and thinly sliced potato bread
squares spread thinly with butter. Each of these was served on thinly sliced
Daikon radish with Chateau St. Michelle Riesling (1996) as the wine

The main course was Sage Stuffed Pork chops with Cranberry/Orange topping,
Buttered Noodles, Glazed Carrots, Horseradish Deviled Eggs and Fresh baked
black bread with Strawberry preserves. The wine was Deloach White Zinfandel
(1887).

Hope you enjoyed the meal. :-) Thanks for the memories. :-)
