SC - Broccoli-a new world food?

Apicius apparently refers to broccoli, cauliflower, etc. in several of his
recipes. IIRC, he used a term like 'flowers of cabbage' or something like
that. Master Adamtius, do you have anything specific on this? IIRC, you have
studied Apicius in some detail. Or maybe Llewelyn might be able to help us out
here if he is still on the list. He has made the study of Apicius his primary
focus.
