Actually you can do a web search of 'mead' and 'brewing' to get your very own
recipes now instead of waiting until your 21. :-) There are also many books
available on the subject. The acquisition of knowledgeis not limited by law to
any age group. :-)

An update on the home brewing laws.......The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board
has recently expanded the Federal Regulations  in the State. You may now
ferment 200 gallons per year per adult member of your household of wine.
Ciders have been rescheduled from wine to a 'brewed' bevverage and it, along
with beer and ale, can be brewed at the rate of an EXTRA 200 gallons per
person per year. This is in addition to the 200 gallons of wine. NO PERMITS or
permissions are necessary.

At the risk of sounding like a mommy, I will repeat the warning that alcohol
consumption is unfortunately limited to persons over 21 years of age in the
US. It seems that you have the ability to make wise descisions about voting
and are able to join the military, go to strange lands, meet new people and
kill them at 18 but you cannot make responsible descisions about drinking a
bottle of beer. Go figure. Be very careful if you decide to do any brewing or
consumption. There are people, including the local law enforcement personel
who are crazy enough to view such activities with horror and they WILL lock
you up if you are caught.

But for now, there is no harm in studying about it. :-)
