O.K. First I took all your warnings, and thought they were cute.  And 
informational, as I never thought it might actually be against the law 
to make it.  

But I live at home, and my mother doesn't have any problem with it (she 
would if it were beer or wine).  Infact she thinks it is neat.

My other question is who would drink this back then.  Was it a peasant 
drink?  Merchant?  Or would nobility drink this stuff?
