One note on ketogenic diets.  This diet has been used in children with seizure
disorders to help control the seizures. There is controversy in the medical
community, but there are parents out there that will swear it has decreased the
number of seizures or actuall stopped the seizures in their child.
I have had to work with a few children on their medications (no sugar so no
elixirs or syrups unless sugar free). Talk about fun in pharmacy! (GRIN)
