Here is my menu for lunch at Everyman's this weekend:

MID-DAY REPAST
(An Eclectic Blending of the Past With the Current Middle Ages)

1. Herbs and Fruits- A Medicine to Cool Hot Humors, Improve Sight, and Inflame
the Loins

(Celery sticks, Carrot sticks and Green Onions marinated in Olive oil, herbs,
Balsmic Vinegar and cracked Peppercorns. Quartered apples dipped in lemon
juice and quartered oranges with a dish of balsamic vinegar for dipping.)

2. Tea Eggs

(Eggs hard-boiled, cracked and re-boiled in strong tea to produce marble-like
patterns on the surface. NOTE: MY spin on this recipe from the SCA-Cooks lisis
to add some salt during the secondary boiling to produce a savory end
product.)

3. Italian rolls

(These rolls are produced locally and are soft-crusted.)

4. Stew

( A savory combinations of assoted meats, herbs, vegetables and herbs seasoned
with cubebs, galengal, grains of paradise and other strong powders.)

5. Wortes

( A creamy vegetarian dish consisting of Swiss Chard, onions, parsley,
spinach and almond milk. Seasoned with salt and fresh ground pepper.)

6. Honey Almond Cheesecake

(A wonderfully decadent dessert taken from 'The Medieval Kitchen'. A cherry
topping will be served on the side.)
