Yes, welcome to the list. It is not a requirement that you cook to be
on this list. I have not as yet tried any of the recipes I am
collecting (I have a kitchen, but my life is sort of
"shambles-esque"), but I have shared opinions with the best of them,
and learned a lot of valuable information. In fact, if you want to
catch up on some of the stuff we have already hashed (hmm, haven't had
a good hash and eggs for a while . . .) there are archive files, and
our own Stefan has his everpresent Florilegium. Browse, sample, talk,
question, and you are always welcome "under the rock" where there is a
huge kitchen, lots of friendly happy people eating and talking, a hot
tub lots of chairs and tables. Come in and let's have fun!

So welcome. :-) I am considered boastful, occasionally rude,
opinionated, loud
and uncaring by a few. I consider myself out-spoken, sweet, kind,
sharing,
dedicated to historical cookery and general all around good guy. I am a
Gemini. Oh yes...I almost forgot.....grumpy old fart. :-) And I love
these
guys! :-)

And Ras, I don't consider you boastful. Grumpy, yes, but also helpful
and friendly.
