I called a couple of my farmer contacts and Margali's information is correct
in PA also. However, here the 5 gallon bucket stipulation is absent. Co-
operative farmers here will sell you raw milk as animal food in any quantity.
:-) This has a number of advantages including the ability to purchase milk for
your parakeets and lizards that is palatable (e.g. lacking a cooked taste) and
being able to create dairy by-products easily wihtout dealing with
homogenization and pasteurization which results in superior cheeses that any
self-respecting iquana is sure to love. :-)
