Will post this info to you ASAP. :-) I know several people that still raise a
proper pig and there are all kinds of breeder associations, etc. Also a trip
to your local ag extention off ice will probably get you some info on locals
growing 'fat' pig varieties. They do still exist in one form or another but
probably the closest you'll get to a period variety is the 18th century. :-)
