I haven't ever had the privelege of dining on dormice but the size sounds
about right. Iwould suspect that the flavor would be a little gamier. Perhaps
you might consider young woodchuck instead of squirrel. It would also be about
the right size and milder tasting than squirrel. there is also more meat on
their bones. :-)
