SC - Bulgy tomato cans

When I did my own tomato canning, there was nothing but tomatoes, salt,
and water.  It may not be botulism, but why worry over the nomenclature? 
Don't trust any of the little beasties!  It's good advice to toss bulging
cans, if for no other reason than that they weren't meant to do that, so
what's going to happen inside of YOU?
