I dunno, there are some varieties (particularly yellow ones) that are called
low-acid, some red ones too. Failing that, there is probably some kind of
litmus test, or maybe the more experienced can do it by tasting them. I
brought it up only as a possible explanation for a phenomenon, not as a solution.
