SC - Poudre Forte and Poudre Douce

I have come across these two terms in several receipts and have a question:

While I am familiar with Poudre Forte and what is in it, I have never seen a
receipt for Douce. Given that I am french cdn and can speak french fairly
well,  I am assuming that it is a lesser strength that the Forte.  Can
anyone clear this up for me?
