SC - candied almonds

Hi...

If you put the candied almonds into egg white after toasting them....do
you toast them again?  Or do you just eat them that way?  If you just
eat them without toating them again....then wouldnt the nuts be all
gooey and wet?  And all egg whitey....? =0)
I'm looking for a recipe for candied almonds where they are nice and
crunchy....and the coating is a crunchy carmel caoting. =0Þ
